Limited Lifetime Warranty

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

British Audio Pro Performance Cables are made in the USA and built for dependable professional use. We stand behind our cables. If a qualifying cable fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship during normal, intended use, British Audio will repair or replace it subject to the terms of this Limited Lifetime Warranty.

1. Who and What Is Covered

This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to British Audio Pro Performance Cables purchased new from British Audio or an authorized seller.

Coverage is provided to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase or other reasonable proof of the original purchase may be required.

For purposes of this warranty, "lifetime" means the useful service life of the original cable while it remains owned by the original purchaser. It does not mean the lifetime of the purchaser, and it does not mean that a cable is guaranteed to last indefinitely regardless of wear, use, or physical condition.

2. What Is Covered

This warranty covers qualifying defects in materials or workmanship and qualifying cable failures occurring during normal, intended use.

If British Audio determines that a claim is covered, British Audio will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the cable; or

  • Replace the cable with the same model or a reasonably equivalent product.

All warranty claims are subject to evaluation and approval by British Audio.

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, excessive force, improper handling or storage, modification, unauthorized repair, or use outside the cable's normal intended purpose.

Examples of conditions that are not covered when caused by misuse, abuse, accident, excessive force, or other excluded circumstances include:

  • Cracked, crushed, bent, broken, or impact-damaged connector shells or barrels;

  • Bent, broken, or physically damaged plugs or connectors;

  • Damage caused by pulling, lifting, or carrying equipment by the cable;

  • Excessive strain, twisting, stretching, kinking, or severe repeated bending;

  • Damage caused by being stepped on, pinched, crushed, run over, dropped upon, or subjected to impact;

  • Cuts, burns, excessive heat, chemical exposure, excessive moisture, or other environmental damage;

  • Damage resulting from improper storage or handling;

  • Modification, disassembly, or unauthorized repair; and

  • Cosmetic wear that does not affect the proper operation of the cable.

A cable that has been physically damaged is not necessarily defective in materials or workmanship. British Audio will evaluate the condition and apparent cause of failure when determining warranty eligibility.

4. Maximum of Two Warranty Replacements

This Limited Lifetime Warranty is associated with the original qualifying purchase, not with each replacement cable.

For each original qualifying cable purchase, British Audio will provide a maximum of two (2) warranty replacements during the covered lifetime of that original cable purchase.

Once two warranty replacement cables have been provided for an original qualifying purchase, British Audio's replacement obligation under this Limited Lifetime Warranty has been fulfilled.

When practical, British Audio may elect to repair a qualifying cable rather than replace it. A repair performed instead of replacement does not count as one of the two warranty replacements unless British Audio specifically states otherwise.

5. Replacement Does Not Create a New Lifetime Warranty

A warranty replacement is provided in fulfillment of the warranty covering the original purchase. It is not a new retail purchase and does not create a new Limited Lifetime Warranty or restart the warranty.

Any replacement cable remains associated with the original purchase, original purchaser, warranty history, and applicable replacement limit.

6. How to Make a Warranty Claim

Contact British Audio before returning a cable for warranty service.

British Audio may request reasonable information necessary to identify and evaluate the claim, including:

  • Proof of purchase or purchase information;

  • Photographs of the cable and damaged or failed area;

  • A description of the problem; and

  • Return of the cable for physical inspection.

Unless British Audio instructs otherwise, the cable must be returned to British Audio before a warranty repair or replacement is approved.

British Audio reserves the right to determine whether a claimed failure is covered by this Limited Lifetime Warranty based on the condition of the product, the nature of the failure, and the terms stated herein.

7. Shipping and Transportation

The customer is responsible for the cost and risk of shipping or otherwise delivering the cable to British Audio for warranty evaluation.

Reasonable shipping and handling charges for returning a repaired or replacement cable to the customer may apply where permitted by applicable law and will be disclosed before shipment.

Local customers may deliver and pick up warranty products at British Audio's Nashville location during normal business hours.

8. Replacement Product Availability

If the original cable model, length, connector configuration, materials, or specifications are no longer available, British Audio may provide a reasonably comparable replacement product.

Replacement products may differ in appearance, materials, components, or construction from the original as products and manufacturing specifications change over time.

9. Additional Limitations

This warranty applies only to the covered British Audio Pro Performance Cable. It does not cover damage to amplifiers, instruments, speakers, recording equipment, or other connected equipment resulting from causes not attributable to a covered defect in the cable.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, British Audio is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, lost performances, lost income, or other indirect losses arising from a covered product failure.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

This Limited Lifetime Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Nothing in this warranty is intended to limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited under applicable federal or state law.

10. Our Commitment

We make British Audio Pro Performance Cables to be used in the real world—on stages, in studios, rehearsal rooms, and everywhere musicians and audio professionals depend on reliable connections.

If your cable experiences a legitimate covered failure during normal use, we'll stand behind it.

Our Limited Lifetime Warranty protects against qualifying product failures. It is not an unlimited replacement program for cables damaged through abuse, accidents, excessive physical force, or other conditions outside normal intended use.
