Service Structure & Bench Policy

Professional digital instruments require structured evaluation and proper documentation.

Initial Evaluation & Bench Charge

Keyboards, synthesizers, digital pianos, studio monitors, mixers, and pro audio gear require:

A minimum one (1) hour Initial Evaluation & Bench Charge at the applicable labor rate due at check-in.

For most professional keyboards and synthesizers:

$139 – One Hour Minimum

This applies to:

  • Approved repairs

  • Declined repairs

  • No-fault-found cases

By leaving your equipment for service, you authorize up to one hour of labor unless otherwise discussed at check-in.

If additional labor is required beyond the initial hour, we contact you before proceeding.

Initial Evaluation & Bench Charges are non-refundable.

We do not perform partial or rushed diagnostics.


Ship-In Keyboard Repairs

We service touring professionals and studios nationwide.

All ship-in repairs require:

One full hour at the applicable labor rate invoiced upfront before evaluation begins.

Work begins once payment is received.

We strongly recommend backing up all digital data prior to shipment.

Lead Time

Standard Queue: 4–6 weeks to reach the bench

Lead time reflects when your instrument reaches a technician for structured evaluation — not final completion.

Professional instruments require careful handling and documented diagnostics. We schedule accordingly.


Priority Service – $100

Priority Service moves your equipment to the front of our evaluation queue and guarantees priority bench placement.

It accelerates diagnosis.

It does not guarantee immediate completion if parts are required.

Priority Service is:

  • Non-refundable

  • Charged in addition to the Initial Evaluation & Bench Charge

  • Limited in availability each week


Flat-Rate Keyboard Services

Certain common services are structured for streamlined approval and faster scheduling.

Single Key Replacement

Starting at $129
Plus key part if required.

Internal Memory Battery Replacement

Starting at $129
Plus battery cost.

DC Power Jack Repair

1-hour minimum at applicable rate
Parts billed separately.

If additional internal damage or board-level repair is discovered, labor will be quoted before proceeding.


Labor Rates

Most professional keyboards, synthesizers, digital pianos, studio monitors, mixers, and studio outboard gear fall under:

$139 per hour

Select smaller digital units may qualify for $129 per hour when applicable.

Labor beyond the first hour is billed in quarter-hour increments.
