British Audio, aside from being a music retail store, is an authorized warranty service center for over 70 brands of amplifiers, instruments and pro-audio gear. We fully inspect and video document all electronic equipment prior to shipment. We do not accept returns on items that are no longer wanted or desired by the customer. If an item arrived to you damaged, you must file a claim with the shipping carrier used to ship the item. We cannot accept returns unless there is clear and visible negligence on our behalf.
Items we sell on this site are items that we are authorized to repair. If an item you received does not power on or has other issues electronically, excluding damaged items, we are more than happy to oblige a warranty repair on your item. Warranty shipping must be covered both ways by the customer.
Amplifiers may only be returned with prior authorization from British Audio. This is a case by case process. Not all returns are guaranteed. Returns without authorization will result in the customer being held responsible for all shipping fees and will not receive a refund. All amps meeting the return criteria will be charged a 15% restocking fee. If you are returning your amp to be repaired, you will be responsible for shipping both ways. Amps cannot be returned if they were damaged in shipping. A claim must be filed with the shipping carrier to receive compensation for your damaged items. We will refuse all unauthorized shipments and they will be returned to you at your expense.
Please note that we will require documentation, photos and videos of all amplifiers prior to an RMA(Return Merchandise Authorization) being issued to you. This is for our records.
Instruments will be packaged well and shipped in there original packaging unless the instrument is listed as a Showroom Demo product. All instrument will receive a professional setup and cleaning prior to shipment. Please let us know ahead of time if you require different strings or playing action prior to us shipping the item. If your instrument arrives damaged in shipping, DO NOT ship the instrument back. You must file a claim with the shipping carrier that was used to ship your instrument. We will refuse all unauthorized return shipments and they will be sent back to you at your expense. If your instrument arrives and has clear issues unrelated to shipping damage we will review the documentation and video evidence provided to us and will make a decision based on our findings.
**Please note that instruments travel through multiple climates before they arrive to you. This will cause the instruments body and neck to fluctuate and move during shipping. We advise that you leave your instrument in the packaging for at least 2 hours in order for the instrument to acclimate to your environmental conditions, during winter months especially. We will not accept returns if the setup of the instrument only needs to be adjusted.
Accessories and Parts
Parts and accessories will be shipped by the method of your choosing. If parts arrive to you damaged please let us know immediately. You must file a claim with the shipping carrier used to ship your item. Please DO NOT ship items that have been damaged in shipping back to us. We will refuse any items that have been returned without prior authorization. If your parts arrive and you suspect that they do not work please notify us immediately. We have technicians standing by that can help you. If you believe that you have installed the item improperly, please let us know so that we may help you.
