This 1961 Fender Tremolux is an absolutely beautiful piece of history. From the golden age of Fender and the original owners son comes this 1961 Fender Tremolux head and matching cabinet. British Audio's vintage Fender specialist has completely gone through this amp front to back. Much like how you would not want to buy an old car that has never had the oil changed, only the components that wear away and are key to keeping this amplifier running have been replaced. A full list of repairs can be found below.
Fender Tremolux-Amp piggyback amp with oxblood grillcloth, covered with blonde tolex.
The Tremolux was the first Fender amp with a built in effect, tremolo. This is one of the rarest amps that Fender made and it is suspected that production totals were likely less than 300.
